Seizin the Day isn't just a clever name—it's our battle cry. We're a nonprofit founded and run entirely by people living with epilepsy (and the ride-or-die caregivers who've learned to read our auras better than we do), because we know firsthand that seizures don't just disrupt your day; they can absolutely wreck your entire life, your plans, and occasionally your dignity in a Target parking lot. That's why 100% of our proceeds go directly back into the fight: covering medications, emergency room bills, and life-changing devices like RNS,VNS and DBS systems for people who need them but can't afford them. Every dollar you spend with us becomes someone's safety net, their hope, their chance to breathe a little easier—or just their chance to not choose between rent and a refill.
Our weapon of choice? Custom-designed t-shirts that educate, advocate, and yeah, occasionally crack jokes that only we're allowed to make. Some designs even double as a first aid cheat sheet—because if you're going to stare at someone during an emergency, it might as well teach you to time the seizure and not shove a spoon or wallet in anyone's mouth (please, for the love of god, stop trying to do that). We're also giving major love to our warrior caregivers—the ones who've mastered the art of staying calm while internally screaming, who keep the emergency meds stocked and the group chat updated, and who deserve a shirt as chaotic and resilient as they are.
We believe in breaking down the stigmas around epilepsy—not with pity, but with honesty, dark humor, and a refusal to be defined by our condition (or by that one time it happened at a wedding). Each design sparks conversations, challenges misconceptions, and reminds the world that people with epilepsy—and the people who show up for us—are fighters, survivors, and so much more than a diagnosis code. We're turning our struggles into your hope, one shirt at a time. Seize it. We already did.
